You need to be enjoying yourself while everyone's on the booze mate hopefully that'll help.

I feel like I should get port and spirits in but I know it will end badly.

  5. What the **** is it with pigs in blankets this year? Is it that difficult to wrap s sausage in bacon rather than have 970 different prepacked versions along with crisps, ice cream (wtf?) and goodness knows what else. I guarantee Wetherspoons will have a themed guest ale at some point as well <doh>

  7. True. I pay one of my nieces to do it and give her a couple of extra quid so she doesn't moan about having hers wrapped by David Blunkett.

I roast carrot, celery, bacon, onion and chicken wings for 35 mins. Then 4 table spoons of floor and mix and fry in the pan until it's all quite dark then a litre of water and cook down while mashing up the chicken wings then sieve. Best gravy you'll ever have.

Any particular type of floor. Laminate, carpet, flag stone or just good old fashioned floor boards? <laugh>

Just checked the fridge, No wensleydale with apricots. She got a goats cheese instead.

The brie will stink the fridge out for the next three weeks and then be chucked.

There's just nothing festive about brie.

The Turkey looks superb. Which for sixty quid it ****ing should be.

I'll freeze it then so that I can just pop it in a pan for Christmas Day.
