Darmesh Sheth at SSN has the Spurs press officer rattled to his core today when he was bringing up Poch’s future. They’re ****ing losing the plot. About to go £1bn into the red and Poch is laughing his tits off cos he’s off.
he was great in the hangover too. didn't think community was that fun. too hit and miss. how about jimmy o yang in silicon valley?
Some of Community is brilliant, lots of it is hit and miss though, you're right. How much did you watch? Jian-Yang barely has any lines in Silicon Valley, still great though I ****ing love that show.
watched the first season. Some great moments as you say but yea i stopped. Silicon Valley is class. Anyway back on topic.... Spuds press officer and his meltdown https://www.skysports.com/football/...auricio-pochettino-over-manchester-united-job
Community is worth sticking with until season 4 I think? Or 5? The last one is a bit ****. Some of the episodes in it are ****ing awesome though.
I'd be more worried about Utd getting Mitchell than Poch if I supported a rival. Guy has an amazing record when it comes to recruitment.
Not sure what happened at Spurs with him as he left, was there was some kind of falling out? Maybe one of the Spurs fans knows? Just have to look at the signings he made with us, Spurs and now Leipzig to see he clearly knows what he is doing when it comes to recruitment. Him with serious money is a pretty scary thought if you support one of the other teams at the top of the league.
Yeah agreed I read in the papers that utd were looking to get him and tbh my initial thought was Utd are doing what City did before pep and arsenal did before Emery. Basically put a structure in place and recruiting people both these managers had success and a relationship with By all extents Mitchell and Poch are close. Obviously still conjecture but I think if I was a spurs fan him being given a role at UTD and I'd fear the worst
Apparently not as good (for Spurs) as the hype suggested. Levy has poor form with DoFs, and Pochettino obviously decided the exit from Spurs was not such a show-stopper as to follow suit.
Just had a look and he was there when Spurs signed - Alderweireld, Trippier, Alli, Son, Wanyama, Sissoko of your current squad which is pretty good going really. A few duds as well but that is going to happen anywhere.
He had mixed success with us, mate. Not all the good signings were down to him either. Dele was scouted by David Pleat while Toby and Son had been on our radar for years before Mitchell joined. Wanyama and Trippier were a success. Janssen, Wimmer, N’jie and Nkoudou weren’t. Sissoko is finally coming good but I’d label him as so-so at the moment, if he maintains form this season you could make a case for him being a success. Mitchell supposedly fell out with the board. Rumours that the board weren’t entirely happy with his work but that was just paper talk, hard to tell if accurate.
