I take that under advisement...... But I certainly agree with his sentiments Their players overreaction after the PL game was embarrassing for them.
Amen to that, brother. Whether it’s league, domestic cup, Europe, U23s, U18s or a bloody friendly, I hate losing to them.
It's hilarious to watch the Goons' constant need to overcompensate for things - and it's got even more hilarious in the past couple of years where the one thing they'd clung to for years as a coping mechanism for their stagnation on the pitch has been taken away from them
The Poool are getting like that too. Specifically wrt the Goons they are : - Better In that their CL forays periodically end in finals + wins - Worse In that tis ages since they won domestic silverware (at least the Goons have won some FA Cups) - Same In that they : 1. Finish 4th in the PL 2. Go on about "history" to deflect from 1
Closing the emirates because of a thrown bottle? No! It should have been closed on opening day. The place is a sewer and should be suitably cleansed!
Those highlights + BBC stats confirm that the AFTV lot are well on the way to Mouser delusion wrt what game they visibly watched yesterday.
Before it's too late, I wanted to ask a question: why were the Arsenal fans booing Son right from the start? Did he do something dreadful in the warm-up? I can't imagine a less offensive* footballer. * in the sense of "upsetting to people", not "attacking", of course!
He won the penalty in the league game against them. They were booing him throughout that game for it and seemingly carried on into this one. Literally one of the nicest guys in football. He’s like Mata and Kante, you just can’t hate those types of guys, sums Arsenal up though I suppose. He had the last laugh anyway
I thought he was aiming for Gazza! (Remember that brilliant episode in The Magnificent Seven, where Horst Buchholz watches James Coburn shoot a guy riding away (escaping) on the horizon, and, when he sees him fall off his horse, enthusiastically declares, "That was a great shot! A great shot!" And Coburn, in his usual laconic manner responds, "That was a lousy shot: I was aiming for the horse!") Reminded me of that.
Taking both matches together I think a 4-4 draw was pretty fair. Actually either match could have been 4-0 to either side with a few small changes of luck.
I could watch that 2nd goal on repeat for ages. A thing of beauty!! 10 touches and 8 seconds from Erikson's thigh trap facing his own goal the ball is in the corner of the net after the most delicate of chips
