shhhh we don't celebrate failures. finals are all well and good but they are first of the losers . just like teams boasting about finishing 2nd 3rd or 4th. They are all bloody worried about our team now. youy can tell
Trophies won or not, as supporters our 'job' is to support the team not win the trophies ourselves. We've been on a heck of a ride with Klopp and it's still going. There aren't many football supporters who can say the same.
Yep. Enjoy it while we can. If it carries on, a trophy will become inevitable..........................................I hope
I'd obviously like it's to win a trophy but it's not all or nothing imo. As long as I'm entertained, I'm happy.
For some unknown reason they(the deluded Spurs fans)have used us as a yardstick of their improvement and see their qualifying for the CL(top 4)more regularly than us in recent seasons as a big achievement, they fail to take into account that us dropping out of the top4 coincided with Moores selling LFC to the two cowboys who almost bankrupted the club and the legal battle that followed. When Purslow appointed Hodgson that also put us back in playing terms and then we had to stabilise and build when our current owners purchased the club. During that time Spurs stole a march on us and found our niche. Since FSG bought LFC we've won only one trophy but were runners up in the league and reached one domestic and two European cup finals including the CL which puts Spurs into the stone age.
In Poch's pressed the Sky Sports rep tried to ask him if there was any truth in the rumour he'll be Man U's next permanent manager, the Spurs press officer wouldn't let the manager answer the question. Pochettino just laughed. Sky Sports reporter unable to quiz Mauricio Pochettino over Manchester United job https://www.skysports.com/football/...auricio-pochettino-over-manchester-united-job If he's going nowhere why stop him confirming it, if he is going to Man U deflect for as long as possible.
the issue there days is that when Newcastle fell away we took their place but it was largely unopposed. these days it's an absolute dogfight between 6 clubs for 4 spots. utd have more money than anyone. arsenal are still a serious outfit. but need to get back into cl. they are pay mega wages. city are a state sponsored enterprise designed to promote that state with no expense spared. then there's us.... and then there's spurs. kane was their first big big wage.. they are building their stadium and that's all great. but you have to keep winning the dogfight year on year. it's tough for every club but we can never forget that 4th is nothing. 1st is where we need to aim
Spurs getting a good pasting here There won't be an erection among them or a wife without a black eye for days!!!
In the wake of the Suarez/Every case we(the supporters)were called racists, the ground was nicknamed "Klanfield" etc, even called racists for booing Sterling despite having a team with players of colour from England, Europe and Africa when it was the manner in which he left the club that left a sour taste and saw him get stick. Now Chelsea(anti Semite songs), Spurs(banana throwing at a black player)and now Arsenal fans investigated for anti Jewish chants/songs show there's cleary more racism in the ranks of some those that labeled us of what they now find themselves guilty/under investigation of. Arsenal investigate anti-Semitism during Tottenham Hotspur game https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46641570 Racism and/or hate crime is terrible and although it will never be totally eradicated at least more of those guilty of it are being brought to justice or banned by the club's they reckon they support.
Copy and paste. It's like.... hmmmm I got a bite without really trying to fish. Like when you see those videos where fish are jumping into boats
Laugh as in 'coming onto an online football forum, on your rivals thread, having a rant and posting that you don't want a reply? Or was it the 'dickhead'?
It must be the time of year, I thought of the quite lad at the office Christmas party, who doesn't really drink but out of nowhere starts fighting with everyone.
It was everything to be fair, it was the perfect rant response, in years to come, the way we study Shakespeare's plays people will look at this an say look at the poise look at the use of prose, this lad was obviously a ****ing idiot
