No....Tuchel went and Bosz took over, he was replaced by Stoeger who was then replaced by Lucien Favre
what did we expect when he comes out with ****e he is one of the best defenders in the world because he was part of a SQUAD!!!!!!! that made the final of world cup
yeah..... I mean we all know klopps form. He stayed 7 years at mainz and styed a year at least too long at dortmund. He doesn't play the climb the ladder game. That means we got him and he's not managing bayern which he could easily have done a couple times. Its patently obvious to anyone who's watched modern managerial merry-go-round that to get to the top you need to keep advancing. Mourinho has just run out of road and he really was never happy at utd and it showed. He was thinking this is ideal then realised oh **** the club is a basket case and i'm up against pep and a well run club. Poch is clearly a different case as he's not actually done anything yet. he's the eddie howe of the top 4. He's built a rep but now he's at a point where things have to happen or it can go the other way. Spurs got lucky with CL. fair play to them. We rode our luck too. Quite how inter managed to draw at home to PSV who knows. But spurs got a good result v barca weakened side away. they have done well so far in league cup. Only chelsea and city to get by there now. they will be (like us) hoping that arsenal's current crisis is going to mean they fall away now in league. as i had said it takes very little to go wrong for a team to fall away in this sort of competitive top 5. So its all rosy right now at spurs, but the issue is where can they go from here? to actually win something they have to get through city and cheslea and dortmund and hwoever is next.... is another 2 years of top 4 and potentially winning nothing going to enhance his rep?... or can he join utd, double his pay and have the chance to be the guy who turned utd around. Right now spurs front players are right in form. 12 months ago we might have said the same about cheslea... we will see what happens next. for the record we are really lucky klopp stayed too long at dortmund and when he left and had his little rest bayern had their manager. As of now klopps had his 3 years with us and his current team is the result. We are really lucky. We have the same issues as spurs, we cannot replace our front players so rely on them staying fit..... but we can shell out 75mil on player like pulisic if we feel like it. IMO what may well tip poch over is the stadium debt preventing him getting the couple more players he needs to kick on.
Tbf to Spurs, they have done consistently well the last few years - but that seems to have led some of their fans into thinking they are somehow major players. I remember how they were giving it large to us a few years ago when they'd managed to finish higher than us twice in succession. Clear inferiority complex overcompensation issues.
yeah. insecurity. lfc fans know what's happened to us in 2008 to 2010. hense people boasting about finishing above us.. like mancs talking about history.. well it just makes me quietly smile at them
They are easy to wind up and if Poch goes they'll be an easy target on here for those who like to get a reaction.
On the Man City v Burton the disparity between clubs comes when you compare the stadiums attendance Pirelli -6912 (2034 seated) Man City - 7000
they do rage about "injustice" a lot agreed but in this case wouldn't they prefer to take City on in a 1 off game rather than 2 legs.
I get the impression they are desperate to force a rivalry with the big clubs, such that they feel like they belong.
yes... but they would be demanding the **** team and not have yo play Chelsea for the right to play city thereafter.
2 top flight German titles say you're way off track. He also took us to a CL final which trump's anything Poch has achieved at Spurs.
