Nothing. Like I said I never said they were right in attacking the aid boat as the people on it were innocent just like the normal Jewish citizens and the victims of the holocaust.
Have you read the OP, please explain your reasoning or is it just a media brainwashed state of mind where you have no actual reason to dislike them but just do
I hate the fact that they are run by a bunch of evil clerics, the leader is only a puppet, and the fact that they think they are a major world player, when in fact they're just a two bit 3rd world pile of crud. I don't get brainwashed by the media, i ignore it and have my own views.
Evil is such a subjective term. In whose eyes are they evil, what are they backing this up with. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad does appear to not have the full range of powers you would expect of a president granted but he still seems to have more power than say..... the UKs deputy PM, still its no reason to hate them. "just a two bit 3rd world pile of crud" - thats a very xenophobic view which requires yet more justifying from yourself to avoid making yourself looking like an irrational fool "I don't get brainwashed by the media, i ignore it and have my own views. " - Judging by the post this seems unlikely and it would appear you are deluding yourself
Iran struts around thinking they are first world, but they lack the most basic infrastructure of a first world country. For starters, they are not a democracy, for seconds, they don't spend public finances on the public, only on nuclear research. It wasn't meant to be xenophobic, but i'm tired, and i couldn't word it any better. By having my own views, i'm somehow being brainwashed? That confuses me. I ignore the media, because i know they try and brainwash people. I develop my own views, based on research i've done on a specific subject.
Maybe they lack basic infrastructure (not entirely accurate) but maybe incidents like the war with the American funded and armed Iraqis in the 80s and crippling sanctions (despite the information written in the OP) for their "world threatening"clandestine nuclear activity do not help a country build its infrastructure. Still hating a country because they lack infrastructure is an odd one. "they don't spend public finances on the public, only on nuclear research" - can you prove that? im betting you cant. Again why would you hate them for that?
This is a subject area which I have studied quire closely over these last few years, and it is very difficult to come up with any subjective answers to the question you have posed. In Israel's defence I would suggest that the fact that they are a seen as a Jewish nation (how and why they arrived there is another matter) that is surrounded by nations that don't want them to exist, makes them feel slightly vulnerable and the nuclear weapons they possess act as an insurance policy against hostile attacks. The fact that the Iranian leader once publicly stated that he wanted to wipe Israel from the face of the earth could be deemed as evidence to support their position. As far as Iran goes, it is a country that has lived under a strict regime of a perverted version of Islamic law since 1979 which has had repercussions that has reverberated around the globe, and in my opinion, is one of the main reasons for the rise of Islamic fundamentalism which is causing so much pain and grief in the world today. However, the people of Iran are once again finding their voice, and women's rights movements are at the centre for the fight for change in that nation. In answer to your question, I would argue that the real villian is once again religion itself, with gullible or brainwashed people, who are led to belief that books that were written and adapted by man over the centuries, are somehow the work of God, and are willing to kill people who believe in a rival work of fiction which contradicts their own. If people do want to believe in a God, it should surely come from within their own hearts, and not from books written by, adapted and interpreted in many different ways by man.
who gives a ****? you're not going to change a ****ing thing with your silly wee threads on a scottish football forum. get a ****ing life
So Iran can do no wrong, while Israel can do nothing but. An exaggerated statement, yes, but in keeping with yet another completely biased article by Jacky.
The people on the "aid ships" carried weapons and said such peaceful things like Go Back To Auschwitz
More Arabs/Muslims died in wars between the likes of Iraq/Iran than at the hands of Israel yet Israel is the villain
Not at all. I am merely trying to provide a different perspective that you are unlikely to hear elsewhere. Did you read the information contained in the OP, these are not biased opinion they are factual events. While the media keeps telling us of how much of a devil state Iran is and how we should be pushing for further and harsher sanctions to quell a people that are lusting for nuclear weapons, the reality is they have played by the international communitys rule book as far as acquiring nuclear technology is concerned and seem merely only trying to fill the power gap left in their national grid after heavy bombing of power stations by the American armed Iraqis in the 80s and have been unable to fill thusfar due to the sanctions in place. In fact, the information contained in the OP would seem to suggest that the real renegade state is Israel. Operating under its own free belligerent will, hearing no objection from the international community for its constant flouting of international law and commiting of war crimes. Mossad is allowed a free role to assassinate Iranian scientists and engineers and no one can question. I will be posting more instances of how Israel presents itself as a renegade state and its complete state of being untouchable
