“match related”? What? When there are pictures of the glorious Kylie to be looking at? Can’t you write to her, Fats, as her biggest fan, and ask her to grace St Mary’s with her presence? After all, Watford have Sir Elton, we could have Kylie? Oh yes ..... there’s a game on Saturday somewhere oop north isn’t there?
I feel a bit worried about this game and feel it could go either way sheerly through our own efforts. Hoping our great result last outing will be the start of a period with a bit of confidence, really we should be beating these, we certainly have the potential to. A little concerned about the potential lack of Redmond as I believe he is really starting to step up, would rather keep Ings central instead of forcing him out wide and bringing Austin in. So would probably go for long as the replacement.
This will be s good test. Somehow the Arsenal victory had saints written all over it. Always knew this team could compete against the big boys. Grinding out a decent result against fellow strugglers could define the rest of our season.
Tough one to call so early in the new managers reign. So I will default to my usual positive self and say we will lose 2-1
If they score two against us, then our back line will need putting in the stocks while we load up on cabbage & tomato's.
I do not have total confidence about this game...not because I don't rate Ralph and his new tactics...but that cannot overcome the fact that this is Saints we are talking about. The more confident you get, the more likely fate is to kick you up the rump.
This is as easy as it gets, this should be even easier than playing Cardiff and Fulham and we nearly got points against them. I can't see anything other than a saints win. Like i say easy peasy!!!
Funny how many teams from them days made it to the top. A lot on upward curves, and to be fair, playing some good stuff.
1-3. Nailed on. By the way, is anyone interested in this? It's coverage of our 4-1 win against Huddersfield in the Championship. I'm surprised no-one wanted to see it. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2010-12-29/all-angles-covered-saints-4-1-huddersfield Lord, I miss Rickie. That first goal... Vin
