Jose has got to you, you're in it so you have a chance. Fair enough on the cup tied thing but if he came in now he could get new players in Jan and they'd be better prepared for next season. Anyway we'll soon see what happens but I don't think the Ole thing will go well.
The BBC. "Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won 49.5% of the 208 league games he has overseen as a manager during his time at both Molde and Cardiff." Reality is at Cardiff in a much better league he lost 16 of his 30 games and had a win % of 30.0%. Phelan is the bigger interim signing of the two and will kick arse behind the scenes.
Weren’t you telling us all we wouldn’t sack Jose a few weeks ago? Might have been that lad RHC actually. I’d put money on it that Ole gets the team playing better than Jose did and that’s his only objective this season as far as I’m concerned.
Wasn't me Tel, I don't doubt Utd will change the bus tactics to attacking football, but your defence is ****e and Phelan in that respect is a more important signing than Solksjaer, Giggs or Neville with Phelan could have done the same job, but Solksjaer is closer to Fergie than the others, probably why he got the nod.
In fairness to Ole, Man Utd's squad is slightly better than ours was back then. Only slightly mind. We played some decent football then too.
Yeah, not doubting the difference in squad size and quality, my point was/is that Phelan and Quieroz leaving after Fergie retired was the main reason for the nosedive, he's back and could have been working with Giggs/Neville but will be the more important interim addition(especially with Fergie upstairs), Fergie's presence has been negative for Moyes, LvG and Mourinho but will be a positive for those brought in by the manc twats.
