Cool. Trying to wean myself off that ****ing horror show anyway. @brb , please change my avatar to Harry Redknapp holding the FA Cup, if I post on that thread again this year
At the time, it didn’t seem like much of a step up for RK. Anyway, how’d it work out for the big guy?
He finished above us the next season and Everton have been above us since, justifying the move. Probably sat in the Netherlands somewhere eating chips n mayo right now
If Spurs win the league 5 times, they will eclipse Utd in the same way Utd eclipsed Liverpool in the 90s. Although having said that, Chelsea have won a few titles plus the CL and still haven’t eclipsed anyone. @armchairblue , @Bodinki , @Blueman etc, please explain why your club is still considering a bit Mickey Mouse?
Just a fact mate. Of course its a bigger achievement winning **** with you boys. Ita whether it will happen or not. Look at ranieiri and leicester, greatest achievement this century. It doesnt mean staying at leicester was the wise move (for someone who wants to win loads of trophies). If he wants to give himself the best chance to win things and earn loads of money then united is the no brainer. If he wants to be a spurs legend he stays at spurs. If he wins the one or two trophies at spurs that wont make him go down in history as one of greatest or anywhere near. The problem he has is that without the spending power, is this peak/top of spurs whereas for united, they are supposedly at their bottom so have much more room to be better
We’ve stuttered a bit, a temporary reversal of fortunes which will soon be put right . But Everton have so far failed to trouble the top 6, let alone the top 4. Chips with mayo are ****ing rank, you’d have to be stoned to try them.
Mayo is ****ing rank full stop imo. The point stands though, just because a smaller club is currently doing better it doesn't mean that long term it's a better option.
You love a good chomp. I will take being called mickey mouse as long as i am enjoying watching my team and we are winning trophies with or without the glory hunters (of which we have many)
If there is any Man United supporter on the planet who would prefer to bring in Poch or Zidane over Solskjaer succeeding and being given the job permanently then they aren’t proper fans. I hope Ole stays for 20 years although I don’t expect him to achieve greatness in 6 months.
