If Ehab is really struggling to get his around what the club is really worth, and what he thinks he can get for it, then stick around for another 6 months fella, the bottom is about to fall out your world!!!
They're way past caring about what we think, they don't need to buy time, they're more than happy for us to just be permanently pissed off.
They will go though mate. That's the crazy thing. They'll say ''well if we don't go, they've won", or something like that. If we were all to be honest, we know where this is all leading...
The cashflow information was provided to the Supporters Trust group from the Sportyco bid, as Geoff reported.
Nobody's suggested they've divulged everything, but if the Trust are involved in a bid, it's hardly a surprise if they know what the price is.
100 million owed to the owner!!! Kinell. Ipswich have truly been reaping the dividends of positivity since Mick McCarthy left last season. They are bottom of the Championship, eight points adrift of safety, on their second manager of the campaign and now it appears Marcus Evans, the owner, wants to leave. He has put the club up for sale for £35million, but is refusing to write off the £100m that is owed to him — so, unsurprisingly, no takers. It was Evans who insisted McCarthy ran the club on a shoestring, hence some ordinary football, for which the manager was blamed. Having sacked McCarthy’s replacement, Paul Hurst, before October was out, Evans said: ‘I am determined that we develop a team to play attractive and exciting football. I am actively looking to appoint a new manager as soon as possible, who will embrace the long-term vision we all have for the club.’ Long-term vision? Roughly a month later, it’s on the market. McCarthy wasn’t just doing a better job than he was given credit for, he was working a minor miracle.
Worthwhile bring this onto this thread, https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/oct/04/glazers-manchester-united Even though the accounts show 487 million debt the owners have had over 1 billion out of the club in 13 years.
There's examples of this everywhere. It's always the managers fault, no matter what ****ty circumstances they have to work under. It's crazy that fans all across the country, from the top PL clubs down, keep demanding their managers are sacked. Everyone seems to think managers don't get long enough, but no one wants their club to be the one to give them longer.
You're right in that it wasn't all to the Glazers, but the point still stands that the are doing very well financially despite the huge debt the accounts show. "The Glazers’ takeover has in fact drained out of United more than £1bn in interest, costs, fees and dividends since 2005" As a side note can a company director take a dividend if the company is losing money?
