I was sent this article today from a colleague. It is very interesting reading. To summarise, Riverford Organics, one of the largest fresh, organic veg homedelivery companies, with a ‘green’ image know that they should switch their delivery boxes from cardboard to plastic ones due to environmental effects. They haven’t because of the fear of what customers would think. The article is from 8 years ago, before the media frenzy that started last November. Today, they still use cardboard boxes. 8 more years of unnecessarily increased environmental damage.
