So who do they go for next ?

Short term caretaker looks likely, so this poll is for the long term replacement.

I've gone for Poch. Don't think it will happen until next summer though.

Laurent Blanc in a Caretaker role that could become permanent..<ok>

He has United history and retired as a player there well respected..

Not sure myself but for the time being i reckon poochies head can be turned

He's been very ambiguous about his future. He's always careful to say that he's focused on his job at Spurs, but always leaves open the door for somebody to come and make an offer to take him to a big club.

I said on another thread that the Real job comes along a few times in a managers career, which is why I think he's been relaxed about that. But the Utd job, he's probably the sort of manager who feels that he can build a dynasty there like Fergie. If Utd make him an offer, I think he'll want to go there.

They should give it to one of the gobshite pundits who always have a lot to say or are always referred to as being the answer.

I.e. Giggs, Butt or Scholes.

Decent manager Blanc, not sure how he'd fair in the PL though.

Gone for Zidane. Think he fits the Utd mould of being a winner, both as a player and manager, he's done it all.

He'd get a big budget too, but would he bring through the youth players as Utd reportedly want ?
