His passing was sublime at times... 4) Gary McAllister - what a year he had in 2000/01... 5) Steve McManaman - Silky smooth on the ball, and a great passer of a ball...

The best five non United players I have seen play live at Old Trafford (not based on the actual performance neccessarily); Maradona Platini Van Basten Ronaldo (Brazilian) Zidane Favourite five players; Cantona Maldini - genuine legend of the game. Ronaldo (Brazilian) - specifically for that superb hat trick for Real Keane Robson Very difficult to narrow down to five in each category.
Ooh Best five I loved watching: zidane lothar mateus klinsman maradonna Bergkamp favourites: Robson Keane Cantona Maldini Del Piero
God its tough to narrow it down to five: Started properly watching footy around the beginning of the 80's Top5: Maradonna: A complete t**t but what he did at the WC in 1986. Never seen one player influence a tournament like that. Zidane: Sublime in euro2000 and just a class player. Messi: No explanation needed. Platini: Best MF in the world when he was playing Ronaldo/Van Basten Sorry cant split em. Fav5: Le Tiss: Not bad for a fat bloke, owned goal of the season! Maldini: A absolute legend and top bloke. Hoddle: Loved him as a player but hes a right t**ser now. Gazza: just for the roller coaster ride in 1990. Geoff Horsefield: Purely selfish reasons
Top 5 I've watched (bare in mind I am only 17): -Ronaldo (chubby) -Ronaldinho -Messi -C.Ronaldo -Henry Favourite 5: -Steven Gerrard -Theirry Henry -Dudek (based on Champions League final '05 alone) -David Beckham (as much as I hate to admit it, I did used to love seeing his free-kicks sail into the top corner) -Xabi Alonso
Best I've seen. Messi. Ronaldinho Maradona Zidane. Overmars. Favourites. Barnes. Aldridge. Gerrard Fowler Dudek.
Best I've seen. Messi. Maradona Zidane. The "real" ronaldo everyone else you could add to this list pales in comparison. maldini, gukllit, van bastin, c.ronaldo, ronaldinho and so forth are all on a par but the otehr 4 are leagues more amazing. Favourites. Messi Barnes (you're allowed have youthful memories in this category) bergkamp. (those goals!!!) zidane 1998... after that again they all blur into a mushy paste of greatness.
