Thank god we brought in Ralph when we did. Jose Mourinho has been sacked and UTD are on the lookout for a new manager.

Although they’re only looking for a caretaker until the end of the season, by which time Ralph will have proved himself.

Or the person they want will be available in the summer. And the caretaker will be really up for it. Shows how they felt about Mourinho...or Mr Glum as he should be called...better to risk a caretaker when still in Europe than put up with Mourinho anymore.

Saints have put ankle tag on Ralph. Only allowed to go north of Winchester on matchdays. :)

I think MP will be their #1 target. But I’m hoping he has more sense than that. He’s always shown loyalty (sadly for us his loyalty was always to Cortese rather than SFC).

MP wouldn't leave them mid-season, but I suspect he is looking for another move now. An ambitious man....and I wouldn't call him over loyal. He didn't behave well by going for secret meetings with Spurs....although it is what you expect in the real world. He was ready for Spurs when he left us. Not sure what you get by going to United apart from money and prestige (and I'm not knocking that for any worker looking for a job)...must be nicer at Spurs.

Yes, sorry, I should have made it clear I saw it as a (possible) end of season appointment.

its a little bit odd Utd saying end of season for new appointment as we are not even half way through this season.
They are still in chumpions league and top 4 is possible with the squad at their disposal.
Be interesting to see what they do.

Reckon they've already sent out feelers and are aware their target not available before May (phew - that rules our Ralph out.... ;-))

We should do a 'guess the club' he lands at next. That could be fun. (maybe guess the country would be easier)

Good shout(s). Maybe a middling Roma-style Italian club.

Yes, unfinished business there, as he really should have won the CL with them.

Qatar or Saudi Arabia, or a Chinese club.
