I remember when Mourinho was a breath of fresh air in English football , that seems like a long time ago now I'm surprised they sacked him with nobody ready to take over though , the atmosphere at the club must have been really bad
They can't match the spending of LFC and MCFC. They can't match the recruitment of THFC. Hopefully they will be ****ed for many years. Unfortunately that other **** magnet LFC are re-emerging as a force again to soak up all the the local nomark armchair turds. The old doley Carlsberg manager coats are getting upgraded to Standard Chartered gear. please log in to view this image
Martial and Rashford will go on to be truly world class now he's gone. Not a manager to improve players. Similar to our 'Nige' as ridiculous as it sounds. As soon as Dicko/Keane/Toral leave watch them flourish. One of my worst recent memories was standing near the Man U fans when Rashford scored in injury time v us. Seems like ages ago. Unbelievable that we had a great manager like Marco Silva back then and now have a blustering fool in charge.
Will empathise with them if that happens, given the super warm up/ top Breakfast specialist we have in charge
He has certainly lost his early years charisma and has become a boring moaning twat. P.S. I hope Pochettino doesn't end up there, wouldn't want a good manager like him managing Manure.
Manchester United will have to pay Tottenham Hotspur £34 million in compensation should they seek to appoint Mauricio Pochettino.
Man United share price soars by 3.7% in first hour after New York market opens following news of Mourinho sacking. Value of club risen by more than $100m.
A club in turmoil if ever there was one. The biggest problem is still there, sacking Mourinho simply turned the attention away from it..for now.
This is why they've sacked him - Man Utd aren't about the football anymore, the Glazers have no interest, same as their Chief Executive; it's all about 'moving units' and building an English team of Galacticos ...... they may be a huge money making global brand but, they're a **** footballing outfit.
Looks like it could be Ole Gunnar Solskjær, with Mike Phelan as his No.2, until the end of the season.
No real turmoil. It's a cashcow and they will become like a richer NUFC, maybe appointing a 'great' manager to delude the fans they are serious about being a top club, but not signing top larkers on top wages. Think the owners thought it would be a piece of piss and the SAF era was permanent, Big mistake.
