Nope not me...you're probably confusing me with someone who has multiple accounts. Talking of which where is one of our newest members LeedsLuver ? Still not posted and last seen hanging about the Political thread I believe. Thought Sheriff Ristac was on the case but maybe all the surveillance budget was used up on you know who ???
Yes must be confusing you with someone else, easily done LL new ? Don't think so,he's been posting the truth for 4 years
Eric is the one who likes to hang out on the Barnsley board, do I believe he is a Leeds supporter who resides in Australia, not a chance but that's just my opinion. Do I believe LeedsLuver (please note the 'u' replacing the 'o') is a genuine account, no but it's not the only one that has caught the eye but unless they cause grief or do anything wrong then does it matter, only if it is a previously banned account like the character BlueMeme or whatever his many nicks were.
Interesting read and observations Jammy. I think the kick up the arse for BFP has worked wonders, he has manned up somewhat, commanding his area more, even saw him dictating to players around him who to pick up. Due to injuries we have lost some of our shape, Philips really impressed me in front of the back four, his ability to distribute the ball, breakdown attacks and loves a tasty tackle, the lad will be looked upon to be capped for England if we get into the Prem, if Henderson can play for the national side then Philips will definitely be capped. Klick has gone off the boil, but will come back into his own i am sure of it. I took a personal interest in Alioski over the last few games and watched his work rate, it is of a high nature, lads got a good engine on him and wont allow defenders to settle, convinced thats why he gets the nod from Bielsa every week, then introduce Jack Clarke to run at defences when they are not at 100% match pace. Roofe is working his socks off, but sometimes is not in the area where it hurts, but that happens, Bamford is a different player, similar to Alan Clarke, knows where the net is and will put half chances away. We have key players nearly ready to return and should be fit for the run in, if we get over the Xmas period and still average over the 2pts a game we shall be in good shape.
Still think we are missing Cooper, not my fav player but he is a CB and works with Pontus which leaves Phillips in front of them. Phillips is key in my eyes and needs to set free, but when hes a rigid Cb with Pontus we are not as attacking, Forshaw isnt Phillips
It’s certainly a strange place for a Leeds fan to hang out. Well a strange place to hang out full stop really.
Thinking about the 2 points per game average...how many would constitute a good xmas ? Personally I'd probably take 6 now as we'll be putting the same players out every 3 days for 4 games. If you offered me 7 (2 wins and a draw) then I'd snatch your hand off. Especially if we could achieve that without any further injuries as to be honest that has to be a concern.
People have to accept that bpf is just turned 22. It’s hard for him to be bossing about Jansson and cooper. Maybe it’s a little easier when the right back has less experience and one of the centre halves has come up through the academy with him. Also, when to come, when to stay, decision making are things that only experience brings and mans football is very different to u23 football. You don’t get many billy sharpe’s standing on your boots... giving timely nudges and blocking paths to collect corners in the u23s. He’ll get both physically stronger and wiser over the next few years. Agree on the assessment of Alioski. He’s frustrating doesn’t produce much creatively but he puts the hard yards in. Tough game at the weekend... then two ‘winnable’ home games followed by a very tough looking January. West Brom have an easy looking run of games. If we’re in the top 2 at the end of January, we’re going up.
As per previous post jammy. It’s crucial we win the two home games over Christmas. Derby forest and stoke back to back in Jan. Hey we could win them all but it would be good to be facing them with a nice gap.
Would take 3 draws and a win now to honest...our squad is just not suited to so many games over such a short period. Yes all our advantage would probably be wiped out but we'd still likely be in the top 2. Then 11 days rest before the Derby game apart from the annoyance of the FA Cup of course.
Doc this might interest you. I guy I know who's a football agent and works for Stellar Group told me this morning that he'd just had a call from Victor Orta wanting to sign one of his players (that he represents) Michal Bogacz, 17 year old CB/DM of Zaglebie Lubin, has represented Poland at u16 and u17 levels and considered to be a rising star of Polish football I seem to remember you saying you have connections in Poland and just wondered if you'd ever heard of this kid
