To paraphrase Max “I know .... coz I was there!”

I can remember the Swans beating Doncaster in 1967 - I remember because I was due to go but ended up missing it.

Must be a more recent game (I know we beat Bristol City 7-1)

If I remember correctly, and I probably don`t, didn`t we win that one 6-0. I know we beat them with that score but perhaps it was a different year. It was in the old fourth division and their player/manager was a guy called Keith Kettleborough who looked about 60. Correct me if I`m wrong!!!! It was a cracker of a game.

Graham Potter has an almost fully-fit Swansea City squad to choose from to face Hull City, with Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll the only absentees (Source: Swans website)
The Swans boss confirmed that winger Daniel James is in contention for selection following his hamstring injury, leaving him with a headache on the back of wins over Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday.

Full-back Olsson will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles at Brentford, while Potter revealed midfielder Carroll has seen a specialist after being sidelined by a combination of hip and groin problems since the win over Blackburn in October.

“We have had a good week. It is just Martin and Tom who are not in the group, so we have good numbers for this time of year and it is good for everybody and a slight headache for me in terms of selection,” he said.

“Tom should be training with the group next week. He has had a hip area issue, and he has been back and fore to a specialist.

“We have a clearer picture now and we hope he can complete the final part of his rehab and join the group.

“It is frustrating for him, and for us, but we have some clarity and can get him back on the pitch.”

Defender Mike van der Hoorn has also shaken off the virus which forced him from the field at half-time against Sheffield Wednesday.

“Mike is fine, there has been a bit of that 24-48 hour stuff going around,” added Potter.

“They were pretty atrocious conditions last Saturday which did not help and he felt bad, but he has had a couple of days to recover and he has trained fully this week so no problems.”

A tidy position to be especially considering the amount of games we've played , it looks like the gods are smiling , and me, I'll be absolutely beaming should we get a win Saturday

Hull are unbeaten in four and have much better form than the start of the season. I won't be surprised if we lose, but a draw wouldn't be a bad result.

    1-1

Dan James will be going home to where he started today. Hull were powerless to prevent him from moving on due to the Elite Player Performance Programme rules, with James opting to join the Swans, a superior Academy at the time, for a fee of just £72,000.
Whilst James was a steal, Hull got their revenge big time with the Sam Clucas transfer, one of Jenkins’ many “moments of madness” in the transfer market, buying a very ordinary player for an unbelievable £16 million.
Swans then virtually gave Clucas away to Stoke in a fire sale several months later for £6 million.

This game will be about which team is really up for the win, I will be happy with a draw, as Hull will in my view be looking forward to getting stuck into us, hope I'm wrong and Dai is correct, but this could be a real banana skin......................<ok>

Very comfortable game for us at the minute this, in a pretty empty stadium?
