Hull City v Swansea City Competition - Sky Bet Championship Date - 22 December 2018 Kick off - 17.30 Venue - KCOM Stadium Following their comeback 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday next up for Graham Potter’s Swansea squad is a visit to Hull City and a chance to make it 3 wins on the bounce. Against the Owls, Bersant Celina came off the bench to score one goal and create another as the Swans fought back in dramatic fashion to beat Sheffield Wednesday. Swansea trailed after substitute Marco Matias seized on sloppy defending by the home team. But five minutes after his introduction, Celina equalised with a neat, first-time effort. And just a minute later, Celina lofted a delightful pass to Wayne Routledge, who scampered clear to finish between goalkeeper Cameron Dawson's legs. The goal capped a thrilling few minutes and gave Swansea a second successive win to lift them to ninth in the Championship table, four points adrift of the play-off places. Whilst the Swans were beating Wednesday, Hull were beating Brentford 2-0 courtesy of Frazier Campbell's first-half double that saw Brentford's slide down the Championship continue, with the London club having picked up four points from a possible 30 since previous boss Dean Smith's departure. Whilst Campbell's two goals gave Hull just a third home win of the season, lifting them to 17th in the table. Nigel Adkins’ Hull team has lost just once in their past eight matches to put a poor start to the season behind them with 31-year-old Campbell scoring six goals during that run. The Swans have played Hull on 74 occasions, winning 30, losing 28 and drawing 16 matches. The teams last met at the KCOM on 11 March 2017, when Niasse’s two second half goals ensured a home victory. Alfie Mawson netted a 90th minute consolation goal for the Swans. Turning to next Saturday, I think that the Swans will return to South Wales with a point from a 1-1 draw. Merry Christmas
This will be a tough game. I would love to come away with a point of more but have a feeling we will lose a close fought encounter 2-1 - let's hope I am wrong
****ing loves Sian. She should be reffing in the PL, she’s better than some of the **** we had to deal with.
They have Kingsley in their team back from injury, so he will score one. We will need to score two...
We always seem to play Hull away just before Christmas and tend to lose 2-0. Not this year. Hull 0 Swans 2.
We scored more than 6 in our FA cup win last year v Notts County so 3 on Saturday shouldn't be too hard
- I was there. Took my Mrs - that’s probably why I’d forgotten it Wonder when was the last time we won 6-0 in the League?
I don't think we ever have won by that margin and not conceded but we did beat Hartlepool 8-0 in the last century
