Don’t compare Spurs to United under Sir Alex Ferguson, We were winning trophies, Including the Champions League,
Fergie was in charge of United for 4 years before he won a cup, and 7 years before he won a league title Matth. I think what HIAG is saying, one spastic to another, is that if you find a good manager and persevere with them, like United did with Fergie, it can pay dividends.
I know right, I have never seen anyone so bias in favour of any club than Matth is for United, even people who have played for the club like Keane and Neville have been critical of United where Matth would defend them to the hilt.
The insult aside, that is partly what I am saying. The trophies and titles will come, provided that the club sticks with Poch into our new era. Anyone who is not prepared to acknowledge that Poch has taken Spurs forward in leaps and bounds is an idiot; and I don’t converse with idiots, rather I deal with them how I deal with Matth.
I’ve been meaning to ask, do you have a new kettle, now? Or did you have to replace the entire cooker?
Matth, Pochettino has improved Spurs, that is without question, though he still needs to actually win something to cement a legacy. But Fergie was given time to build something special at United, and look what he did. Poch may do the same as Spurs, I really hope he dont because I ****ing hate Spurs and they are gaylords, but they will likely win something in the next couple seasons if they can keep improving.....
Well for the last three years they’ve been bridesmaids and they are far behind City & Liverpool in quality, playing style & consistency so no improvement of note since they crashed the big four. With the tight fisted cash strapped club buying the two or three signings needed to go to the next level will burn in the dust.
In a trophy that you got knocked out of by Frank Lampard's Derby™ in September. Both sides will probably field weakened teams. Too many games to do otherwise, at the moment.
Even before the stadium they needed a few marquee signings but it missed the boat as their board are only interested in profit.
Aye, I meant that the funds to sign those players may be getting eaten up by the stadium construction.
