    i take it youve got a fan assisted oven and youve been using the cooking instructions for ovens wihout fans? i did that when i was about 11.

    He's a bloke. As a rule we don't read instructions properly, if at all, and we tend to learn the hard way. He just seems to have taken longer, that's all.

    Yes, it's a fan oven. And with the last oven, which was gas, i got completely confused with the whole gas mark system.

    well i had a massive problem with the hdmi cable. I put it in, swapped the tv over to the hd section, and didn't get a picture. Not until i'd phoned sony and said my console didn't work did i realise that you had to go into settings (while still on av mode) and swap video output to hd.

    You dont need to time it, just leave it in till it's cooked. And don't look at the hob when it's on, it'll rape your soul.
