Whilst I would rather a draw between Huddersfield and Newcastle, I'm relaxed at the latter winning. Huddersfield are much more vulnerable to relegation than Newcastle, in my view. And of course, Huddersfield play us next.
If that stays the same, and then Fulham lose this evening, it'll be an excellent day for us in my book. Not perfect, but still excellent.
We were away. Huddersfield were at home. If Cardiff want to stay up, last week was a must-win for them. If Newcastle want to stay up, today was a must-not-lose for them. Cardiff needed last week more than Newcastle needed today.
It's not just the fact that it would mean Fulham, Cardiff, Burnley and Huddersfield all losing, but it's also who they would have lost to. Whilst we're taking on Arsenal this weekend, all four of them had/have real winnable matches. This weekend could have been horribly painful for us.
