So mission...lose by a couple but not too many was a success for Everton. if we were 8th they'd win v city today. we are first so they make sure to roll over.
Tbf didn’t expect them to get anything today but unless the performance against us was the anomaly they never really even slightly pushed city even at 2-1 or 0-0. And that is with their big chances - I never felt they were going for it
Jammy ****s more like..........Kane was going down in every moderate breeze that passed. They are the leagues biggest divers after all
Salah..... mane.... Rise above lads rise above. They went and got their result midweek thanks to inexplicable inter result and a post or two but they've come "home" and got the 3 points. Thats why they are not out of the title race. Thry are now only 3 behind us.... so we need to win big time tomorrow, despite our record start we only have 8 points on 5th. We need to win to go back top
they were never out the title race the only people who said that were knobhead pundits in the media who take for ever to spot when something no longer fits their narrative i.e. lots kept saying we were playing great football and how brilliant our front 3 are when we all knew we were misfiring. They had already decided that Spurs would struggle because a) The stadium b) The WC c) no transfers they seem not to have noticed they keep winning games even if ,like us, not being at their most fluent.
An interesting stat..............since Poch has been at Spurs they have earned more points than any other club in the Prem. (333 pts. before today)
The City subs bench today had to be given hot water bottles. please log in to view this image Ffs, back in the day players used play on snow covered pitches or have a cup of Bovril to keep them warm if they were subs.
