I haven't received a Voucher for my drink but did have an e-mail message which said

"To welcome new manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl, Season Ticket holders have been posted a free drink voucher ahead of Sunday's fixture against Arsenal. Season Ticket Holders who have received a free drink voucher should make sure they arrive at least 30 mins prior to kick off to redeem the voucher".

I suspect some may get killed in the stampede, but I never drink anything at the Stadium anyway!

 

Arsenal look good this year, we don’t. 3-1 to them

 

No doubting that. Even the 3-1 looks likely. But.
Sunday feels like the start of something. The Arse are missing quite a few players from the back line, inc 3 to 5 yellows. Thursday night didn't trouble their first team much, but they didn't exactly steam role the opposition.
If we are behind the team, making noise, letting the ref know how important this is, then we have a good chance of ending the 22 game unbeaten streak. Okay, now I sound drunk!

 

Can't see us getting anything from this game.
About as likely as passenger space exploration, or an old has been skate manager winning a major tv entertainment show or as much chance as Teresa May surviving a no confidence vote or David dimbleby giving up question time or Cliff Richard releasing a Christmas album........

SFTW, see Post 117 et seq, including my observation that the wording on the piece of card states that the match is today (Saturday), and the free drink (for Season Ticket holders, before ko) is to welcome Ralph (The Hutt).

I then ramble on about the cards being printed after Ralph was given the job, but before the match was moved to Sunday. Wearing my 'Conspiracies everywhere' glasses, this definitely points towards Sparky being moved on long before it was formally announced.

Bertrand has been sent a copy of the video of training sessions for him to study whilst he recovers from surgery....so he knows what to expect.

He might have preferred grapes.

 

I like this. It feels like how we used to go about things. The dinosaurs have left the building...

 

Ralph isn't going to find he had a difficult act to follow. I know he didn't think of it himself but the free beer+letter thing is a wildly popular bit of PR, so well done to them.

 

I was just wondering as I haven’t received anything yet. Depressing!

It may be my slight codeine hazed recovery from last nights work Xmas party drinks, but I'm getting excited about the Hutt.
