There is a psychotic guy who posts on this forum whose employers are friends of mine. That fact seems to bother him to the point that he’s said he’d happily do time to have a pop at me. The threats of violence don’t bother me as he’s old and I’m confident I could squash him but he’s genuinely unhinged and I can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fruit loop doxxing me.

You seem to be misleading people, you state by putting their picture up there would be no point in doxxing them. However, by placing your picture on a forum leaves you more open to doxxing and it don't have to be by people signed up to this forum. I reckon i could quite easily have doxxed people on here without any admin tools, just via the pics on this thread.

So what difference does that make. Firstly you don't know what people might do for a living, they may have social media contracts that prevent them doing so, also it may place them at risk dependent on the nature of their business. I've previously openly said, that Pete is very foolish for revealing his details on this forum, i sincerely hope he never has to live to regret it.

Totally incorrect. I can see all the pics on this forum as a non member, use incognito and see for yourself. As for you saying it wasn't supposed to be serious, i never said it was, but i've already given you some perfectly good explanations why people might not want to put their pics up. And i certainly will not be to satisfy some ego of yours going on here

Btw i correct the earlier comment i made. Some not all pictures can be viewed in incognito but there are a lot of accounts that view this forum that have never participated. Sorry i got humpty about it.

 

I was asked to put a picture up, my answer is no and i gave some reasonable explanations why people might not want too. Some people have been grateful i have taken their pictures down or at least made queries to them privately behind PM. If people want to put their picture up that is their business, if they don't that don't make them a killjoy.

 

i'm not bothered who puts them up or not, it's totally up to them. it's just nice to put a few faces to the poster. i think no less of those who don't.

 

I'm not bothered if I get 'doxxed'...it's only people who have lied about who they are or what they look like that might have a problem. I also understand reasons such as Stan's.

You don't get it because youre thinking too much. I quite simply meant someone might have said they are A,B,C but in reality they are D,E and F. Naturally that person is going to be hesitant to put up a picture of themselves because they look totally different or have made out as though they are for example Rap artists when really that person is just a security guard.

I had no one specific in mind...I was just considering why I might be hesitant. Apart from that I also understand personal reasons but I'm not concerned because I'm going to get 'doxxed' .
