My view on the Saiz mental health possibility.... The club would have been more considerate if he was suffering from mental health issues, they wouldn’t have had the spin doctor hard at work, just an announcement when it happened that it was personal reasons. Instead days before the loan deal is leaked they virtually say he is fat and lazy. As someone else pointed out, the windows is over two weeks away yet we’ve already agreed a loan deal, it’s crazy. I wouldn’t care if someone had come in with a £5m offer but out on loan is skank.
I'll admit I'm reading between the lines Shako, I just don't think the club would react like they have done if he was just having a sulk. People earlier in the thread were questioning the fact about why are we letting him go out on loan, and not getting a transfer fee for him, and just from what I've read I'm guessing myself that it is some sort of emotional issue, and to be honest he said in the summer that he wanted to go back to Spain, its not something that he's suddenly sprung on us. Of course I could be talking total bollocks, as we are all trying to second guess at present with what limited information we have
He's never stayed more than one year at any club, Probably thinks he's better than he really is, Good player on his day but if he,for whatever reason, wants out, adios Side before self he obviously has not read.
Tell me how the club could have been more considerate. If you know anything about depression, then you'll know logic plays no part in it.
{ think he's pissed off. he isn't a team player, Bielsa likes team unity and not being first on the teamsheet he is sulking
Sorry Morbid, I didn't realise he had said he wanted to go home. I thought he was happy when he was walking around the ground at our last home game last season.
More considerate as in not claiming he is fat and lazy, Couzens picked up on it three weeks ago too... https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/11/21/andy-couzens-slates-overweight-leeds-star-samu-saiz/
So,one month horrendous diet, lose weight, 280 grand to spend on beer for the rest of your life, Good plan.
He is an ex professional footballer noticing a player is overweight and commenting on it three weeks before the club state the exact same thing. I’ll take that as the reason over a rumour started on a fans forum, not having a go at you WJ but I see no basis or reason for depression being the cause, it’s just a plucked out the air possibility no? Please correct me if there are any grounds for this theory, I’m genuinely interested why this could be the case?
