This means that the remaining 77% are caused by jerks who drink bottled water,starbucks,soda,juice,energy drinks and crap like that. Sorry, I didn't explain what I meant clearly. The default measurement for individual wealth is GNP per capita. The statistic I meant to describe divides the US population into 100 groups, from the first percentile of the 3,000,000 or so wealthiest to the 99th percentile of the 3,000,000 poorest. The GNP per capita will rise when no one but the top 1% makes more money, while the income for the 50th percentile won't.
