Apparently Mr Kenyon has only raised £200m... Whereas Mr Ashley is a greedy cnut I would imagine no one of sane mind cannot expect him to sell for such a huge loss? I think we all know that isn't going to cut the mustard. You'd also have to question whether you'd want them in as owners if this is the limit of their financial might. I fear we have another Staveley. That being the case I am beginning to wonder if the likes of Staveley and Kenyon are just Ashley stooges used to add flavour to this whole charade.

I don't think there is a bid. A bit like ours for Almiron. We were hours away from signing him, 5mins later Atlanta United reveal they haven't received an offer. I'd love us to sign him, I'd love us to get new owners who want to spunk a load of money, recent history and reality tells me this is sadly all a charade with no basis in fact. I think Windy and the Lord should keep up the ITK stuff though just for the craic. Eventually they'll be right when Mike dies.

Nah, they're all regurgitating the Sun story. Look, I trust Luke Edwards and George Caulkin. Both stress cautious optimism that something feels different and trusted sources are saying it's happening (as per the reason I spelled out earlier in the thread), but both do state that it IS Fat Mike we're dealing with so truth tends to be in short supply.
