I believe Jose Mourinho is going to start Marouane Fellaini because of his physical presence. United are going to play dirty game.
He shouldnt have played tuesday sadly. Would have been fresh for this game. Milner did ok against bournemouth there.
KLOPP: SALAH WILL SMILE AGAIN Klopp isn't perturbed by Mo Salah's understated celebrations to his run of goals in recent games. "Players are human beings. Sometimes they react in this way or that way. He scores and enjoys the games," Klopp said. "That is absolutely the most important thing. He will smile again and everything is fine." KLOPP EXPECTS ANOTHER INTENSE UTD GAME Jurgen Klopp has headed straight from his one-to-one interview with Sky Sports to the press conference and questions, unsurprisingly, are all about the game against Manchester United. “It’s a big one! It is a very important game and it is very special," Klopp said. "When I was back in Germany I tried everything I could to watch it. Very often it was very intense. Now I’m here it’s always tight. “In Europe we were good against them and I don’t remember bad results too much. “Sometimes we haven’t got the results we deserved. We haven’t won a lot but we will try to change that. I know it will be a very intense game and we will be ready for that.”
Jose Mourinho says 'trophies matter' ahead of Liverpool vs Man Utd Manchester United "far" from being in my image, says Mourinho https://www.skysports.com/football/...trophies-matter-ahead-of-liverpool-vs-man-utd
lads... I think we need to look at such games as city v utd for the way utd will play. last year Utd had points in hand to defend for 0-0. this year they can't afford it. they played a frenetic game v city. individuals haring about knowing they had to for the game it was and city got sucked into it. pep told them to actually play football the second half and they destroyed Utd. then look at utd v lfc at old Trafford last year. specific long ball tactic at taa and they scored 2. mourinho will have a play and they will chase about as to lose to us would really be a downer for fans they can't just take a meek 0-0. thats any and all cl hopes gone.
Mourinho set up in a 4-2-3-1 against Liverpool in October 2016, deploying Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrara in a defensive pairing. please log in to view this image https://www.skysports.com/football/...se-mourinho-shut-out-liverpool?basketId=11661
it's interesting to note how the two side is have developed. Utd have pushed young back to lb and ibrahimovic has left. put lucky and Sanchez in as two very expensive flops and thry really have not developed... we have alisson, vvd, Robertson, kieta, fabinho, salah to come in to the side there and gomez and has injured. or in other words a.near complete transformation. we are top and utd nowhere... hardly shocking
I kept waiting for him to become the player we hoped he would become but he never did and I'm not sure where his best position was? DM Fabinho already looks better CM Keita already looks better He's nothing special and of no loss to us.
