Has the club been sold yet? I'm starting to think that Mike Ashley may have been, well, telling 'pork pies'. Controversial opinion I realise.
Well, it usually takes around 4 days, so can't imagine what the delay is..... Even Dubai had to wait 3 weeks to buy a club with a blank chequebook, mate. Be patient.
The sale is going through and the shareholders are dumping their shares as they realise Sports Direct won’t benefit from free advertising any more.......maybe.
From my VERY limited understanding of business - Debenhams rejected £40m of FCB's SD money making it likely they will go under. As FCB/SD owns 30% of Debenhams he/they stands to lose money if Debenhams go under. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/46550155
Crikey the share price is all over the shop today. Something really REALLY fishy is going on with them shares! How can it fluctuate so bad!?
More twitter rumors - because business is VERY slow this time of year for me and I end up killing a lot of time on there... Warren Barton seems to think its genuine with his stateside perspective.
Is that not yes hopefully, yes with any luck, or yes I pray? Admittedly my assessment of emojis is probably not the best...
Ashley offered one of his interest free loans to Debenham and was sent packing. Sports Direct stand to lose £150 million as a result. November results for SD are the worst on record. Their share price has tumbled and is expected to fall.
Dear Mike - if Sergio still refuses your kind offer can we put it towards a couple of strikers in January? If they keep us up this Season it will be a far better return on your money than you would get from bloody Debenhams.
Goodness, I had SD shares for a few months a number of years ago. Then they were more solvent than the mess that they are in now.
