Our last 6 games have seen us win 3 and lose 3. Our 3 loses have been against teams above us in the form table. Our 3 wins have been against teams below us in the form table. Unfortunately our next 4 games are against teams above us in the form table. Wycombe are on a 5 game unbeaten run which includes wins against Peterborough and Barnsley, with a draw against Sunderland. We will need all the players to be on their game to win this one, it's a tough game made harder by being at home. I'm still going for a Gills win.
Well - it seems that Mr. Scally believes in fairies ! He's waiting until the twelfth day of Christmas to ensure that he gets all the presents he wants into his £25 sack ! -- Mind you, if he thinks that he's going to get a bigger crowd, for the Cardiff game, than the 10,300 we had when we played Stoke- then he must be away with the fairies.............we will see ( by 'we ' I don't mean 10,300 ! ).
I've already got my Cardiff ticket so that's one, only 10,299 to go. I did think the old git discount a bit miserly though, my pension is taking a big hit.
A lot of supporters never returned for the second half, can't blame them after the first half showing it was pretty dire. Thankfully we were much better in the second half and could have snatched it in the end. Overall the support was good, plenty of noise coming from the Rainham end apart from a small period in the first half.
I saw the score and messaged pegleg to go back to the pub at half-time - good job people don't listen to me
The sad thing is with a fair result against good opposition we actually moved further away from the playoffs and closer to the relegation zones. Still Ebbsfleet are the number 1 form team in the National League.
