Just to put this out there in civil eng terms for the Spurs supporter
morons (assuming they can actually comprehend it) ...

    1. New WHL

    - effectively privately funded
    - about 3 months behind schedule (completion date imminent)

    2. Crossrail

    - state funded
    - God knows how much behind schedule or when completion expected.

Large scale civil eng projects rarely complete both on time + budget.
So WTF are you complaining about ??

Yeah, any more Crossrail bail outs and the mayors office might actually have to start charging the Spammers proper rent for the Taxpayers Arena. Another 1.5 Billion.

The Times presume that February will be the first game, so it's a choice between newcastle, Leicester, Chelsea or whoever we get in the CL knockouts

If they are not going to be updated by the builders until 7th Jan then they have hold the test events presumably to get the cetificates that could easily take a month so I suppose Leicester on the 9th Feb might be favourite but if not by then, the Arsenal game in March begins to loom.

It's said that three weeks notice has to be given for test events, although it's not clear how literal that is (i.e. 21 days, 15 business days, or if we can announce it on a Friday and it happens a couple of Mondays later - although the familiarisation events imply the third option is most likely)

At least we know where the Leandro Damiao transfer rumours went...

Although given the casing was made by Archway Sheet Metal Works, are we sure it's not a bomb?

Doubt they'll want the first proper game to be against Arsenal. Or Chelsea for that matter.

As it's assumed that three weeks notice needs to be given for test events (albeit it's not clear what the definition of three weeks actually is, let alone whether that's actually true or just guesswork...) Leicester is looking increasingly likely - although if we're still in the FA Cup for the fourth round draw, that's another scenario that's increasingly probable

Yeah I obviously don't know when it will be but I'm almost certain it will be a lower profile game, seem to remember Arsenal having a few matches at the Emirates before any high profile clashes.

Leicester/Newcastle would be spot on really.

That's a really good view, especially when compared to a lot of the **** that's out there.

    There's another example...

    3.) New EastEnders set

    - Publicly funded
    - Already 40% over budget
    - Five years behind schedule
    - Has mentalists dressed as Anglican vicars saying that everything's fine...

  20. A thing of beauty!! :emoticon-0152-heart

and you’re right, PL....the sequenced track is good too with some great technical drumming going on there..... kind of late 70’s Jazz/Rock - at the lighter end of Chick Correa spectrum, but can’t place it. Lovely way to start the weekend :emoticon-0148-yes:
