Could have been 6 or 7 : 3 Kane, Sonny, Eriksen and Lucas all missing sitters, denied two stonewall penalties, Couthinho hitting the post twice. Sissoko was brilliant again. Great to see Lamela back. They looked tired, but kept going and made it count. Fair play, well done lads.
Porto or Bayern for me. Seen us play Dortmund, Real and Juve while we’ve played PSG in pre-season last year.
Where did the 2nd half Rose come from? I know he missed that chance but he was a different player...... I (may) stand corrected on him... And as for SupaMoussa - what more is there to say? Absolutely feckin’ awesome! COYS!!
No but we had some scares at the end of last season though didn't we i.e. losing to The Baggies? We were all very nervous.
Limp out of the CL, last season Real limped through to the last 16 and look how far they went. Beating Liverpool in the final would make my day/week/month/year/decade/century.
Well, we all said bring them on when we heard the draw didn't we and we took them on and succeeded? Now bring whoever on again but PLEASE let's be more clinical in front of goal.
17 feckin’ attempts on goal...... Not sure if that is good or bad in the circumstances Was watching a delayed stream (+90 seconds) and was on WhatsApp with my best mate, a Barca season ticket holder at the Nou Camp...... bizarre situation.....
Seen a few comments checking the BBC live texts calling it Barca's B team. Our starting 11 cost less than Dembele and Coutinho, seperately, so they're more than double before you even take into account the rest of the team and the wages difference!
We’re only the 8th team to have qualified from the group stages after having just one point from the first three games. Just shows how tough of a job that was, even if we did bring it on ourselves.
Normally bad, but taking the Inter result into consideration: Fekking brilliant, who gives a fek about 16 missed chances And I've been drinking fekking soda water all fekking night, and I still dont give a fek.
So for various reasons I missed the vast majority of the game tonight, got the radio coverage on walking home just before Moura scored and went ballistic in the street...followed by a very tense few minutes especially after our final whistle when the BBC reporters were waiting for the Inter final whistle to be announced. Sounds like a hell of a game and so proud of the lads for digging it out tonight, and over the second half of the group stage in general.
