Yep love Floyd so will look to come next year if I am in the area - and it would be nice to hear you live having heard the videos you posted
Strange that because both times I've seen them (and the last time was last Saturday 8th December) they were playing at a pub called the Pelham arms in Gravesend. I've never paid to see them. I'm not a huge fan of Floyd, but mates of mine have seen them loads of times around Maidstone in various pubs and clubs. The most famous Floyd tribute band is the Australian Pink Floyd. They do play all over the world and you will pay probably £30 to see them. I saw them at Rochester castle back in the summer.
Just Floyd is a pro tribute act. Same as Brit Floyd and The Floyd Experience. There are a couple of others. If your mate has seen them for "free" then the venue will have paid through the nose to book them.
Do you actually read anything before replying. I said I saw them on Saturday at the Pelham and never paid a bean to get in. Some of my mates have seen them various times in pubs around Maidstone and have never paid. Watching local bands (by that I mean north Kent) is one of my favourite pastimes. Edit, Just opened the link I posted earlier and if you scroll down you will actually see a reference to the Pelham arms gig. They actually said it will be there last pub gig as they think they have outgrown the pub scene. I didn't actually know that and they never said on Saturday. But of course they don't do pubs and clubs
You have selective reading, He saw them in a pub, for free. No one is knocking your music, but you force people to dislike you.
HIAG's band is the other end of the spectrum, reading back ... ergo; if you go to see them... HIAG will give you £30
