1-0 HT. Not a very good half. Really sloppy goal conceded and then we lost the midfield for most of it. Worked a few chances, but wasted them. The Son one was particularly galling.
Front four have done **** all with exception of one or two runs by Son. If they don’t pick it up early in the second half, use Lamela and Lucas. This ain’t no game to be using 85th minute subs. Very disappointing performance so far.

KWP unfortunately looking out of his depth. Not entirely his fault, barely kicked a ball this season then gets chucked in at the Nou Camp in what is pretty much a must win game for us. Inter will at least score against PSV, so we need a massive kick up the arse otherwise it’s Europa League.
A quick summary of r/coys' take on the first half * KWP is ****, take him off while we still have 75 minutes to play * Dier's ****, don't bring him on even though he's the only player on the bench who can play right back Luckily the combination of PSV scoring, the ref having his UEFAlona badges and Sissoko steamrolling Dembele got some actual conversation going - half an hour into the match...
I don't understnd why, if you're going to play KWP, you don't play Dier and Sissoko in the middle to firm up things and provide support. Sissoko is doing a job, but leaving Winks to handle the centre on his own ain't working.
Playing against an obviously 2nd string Barca, that was pretty awful.... some neat interchanges at times but only SIssoko has earned his money so far. Winks again looks to be short of the extra quality, the front players have flattered to deceive, Rose has been impetuous and KWP had a moment to forget. Vermaellen should have seen red and not even booked..... C’mon PSV
Said before the game that I don’t understand why Dier is on the bench. Absolutely bizarre decision in my opinion, another Poch brain fart in a big game unfortunately.
Inter guaranteed to score in the last 10 if it stays like this - Next goal in this match his huge, Barca score and game over we score and we can go on and win
Without sounding like a broken record or a negative Nancy, does Winks ever have a good game? (Ok, Real Madrid aside). As I keep saying, he’s just a nothing player. Offers absolutely zilch. Getting really tired of him now to be honest.
