I did say the other day on the Leicester match thread that we should pick KWP and save aurier from getting injured oh well it's time for KWP to shine tonight he deserves his chance ,I hope he rises to the occasion and has a great game in poch we trust.COYS
I think Poch has missed quite a trick with KWP. He could have been picked quite a few times in the past - in less crucial, demanding games - and then his inclusion tonight would have been less of a leap. I think he’s an excellent player, and his temperament is sound, so the occasion should not overwhelm him. And personally I’m relieved Aurier is not available. I’d be very worried about HIS temperament, and think he would have been very lucky to stay on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. By the way, who will double-up to give KWP a hand, just in case?
I agree with you for the most part, but I think Poch has a dilemema with Aurier. If I'm Aurier coming in for the money that I have, I want to be played as the main challenger to Trippier, whenever possible. Unless I am injured or suspended. Also, Pochetino, and the club, want to prove themselves right in signing him in the first place. In a way I'm glad that Aurier has been trusted as he has inproved a lot in that time. I think KWP will do well tonight. He knowns that, as long as he is not injured, he will have a run of games with both other options out.
And for that reason KWP should have played more on the left where he is very good also. Ben has played so many games I don't know why he hasn't been rested more.
I'm guessing the mean machine will help KWP, and everyone else on the team. Be prepared to see a MOTM and winning performance from him.
Today I have been kicked, pushed, called a ****, ****er and (worst of all) old and ugly and got covered in spit...oh and got tripped while moving one of the little darlings landing on my knee so other staff (after checking I was ok) have been laughing at my old bastardness...and it's not half one yet Spurs had better put as much work and effort in as I have or tomorrow the little twats are in for it
We've had a couple of periods when either Trippier or Aurier were injured and the other was overplayed, in my opinion. Walker-Peters didn't have the best game against West Ham in the cup though, despite Aurier playing well on the left.
My old school teacher used to come into class with a base-ball bat that he called Hubert. He never actually hit anyone with it, just threatened us all. It worked, he never got any trouble. Perhaps you should follow his example.
While there were plenty of headlines about Troy Parrott travelling with (and training with) the first team he won't be playing tonight as he's currently on the pitch in a UEFA Youth League match - although it's probable that at least one of Oliver Skipp and George Marsh will be on the bench as neither are playing in that match.
They are literally playing across the road though, so you'd assume that they'll all be at the match later.
Fekking 22:00 kick off here, we are two hours in front. I hate it when the UK clocks go back. I'll try and get three hours kip first. Cant even have a beer, I had food poisoning yesterday and the doctor jacked me up with loads of drugs, I had more pricks than Stormy Daniels.
Remember the other week I had to drive so was drinking feckin milk shakes now it's my turn just cracked open a beer and the rum is ready as well
