Love or hate the other English teams, this competition is far more dull without as many still in it as possible. Though I’d say Pool’s best shot of winning the league is to lose tonight.
You’ll have to hope Klopp has learned from the first game. I’ve little doubt you’ll score against them, but can you keep them out?
We're so good in the PL and don't concede many but in the CL we've leaked a few, if we play with belief tonight we may get through.
I had the termerity to note the fact that their first goal at the weekend was offside. So he’s rocked up hoping I’d somehow have a different view on fact last night, given it was Everton. He failed, as he forgets that I’m not a one eyed Kopite, and I call things as I see them, irrespective.
Carra and Neville picked their combined Liverpool Utd team for the game this coming weekend... Jamie Carragher's combined XI: De Gea, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Keita, Matic, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane Gary Neville's combined XI: De Gea, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Bailly, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Pogba, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Martial Pointless me doing it as it would be all Liverpool but it would be interesting to see what neutrals would pick.
Carragher picked Milner over Pogba and Neville picked Martial over Mane? their respective biases showing there
Currently De Gea hasn't been great, but he is still a pretty exceptional keeper. Its hard to look past that I guess, even Carragher went with him!
I suppose and I agree he has been brilliant until this season but going into this game I wouldn't swap.
Yeah but if asked anyone do you want de gea or alisson as a signing in your team for free, most people would pick de gea. Likewise if someone asked you if you want felipe anderson over eriksen because hes been far more productive this year, youd tell them to gtfo
De Gea TAA Bailly Van Dijk Robertson/Shaw Herrera Pogba Wijnaldum Salah Firmino Martial Bailly probably not deserved on form but technically superior to any centre half either team has so he’s in.
Predictions for English teams tonight: Barca to field a weakened side and Spurs to steal a late win. Liverpool to narrowly beat Napoli thanks to dodgy referee being in their favour.
