I'm not knocking it, but why floyd? I personally find them ****, so i wouldn't know if you were good or bad. But fair play.
Dark Side of the Moon is one of the greatest selling albums of all time. Floyd's music is technical, lyrical, political, challenging, and beautiful. The audience is wide and varied . The comment that we most often hear at our gigs, from those who see us perform for the first time, is "Close your eyes and you could be listening to the real thing!" David Gilmore wasn't an influence on me when I was learning to play guitar, but I have come to appreciate him, through Floyd's music.
You'd be very welcome. If you love Floyd, you will definitely enjoy our performance. We have people travel fair distances to come and watch us play.
But to me they are ****, so it'd be a waste of my time watching you, as i'd have already decided that you were ****, before even hearing anything.
Comfortably Numb is one of my all time fave 'guitar' songs ... if you ever **** the solo up and post it on here Quents; know that I will hunt you down and extract your spleen with a pair of plastic salad tongs .... and as for the fans travelling a "fair distance" ... she's your mam Quentin and has an old person's rail card ffs
Watching true skill is something to saviour, though, Commie. Sure, you might think juggling is as boring as fcuk, but when you’re watching the bloke juggle 4 flaming chainsaws, you cannot help but be impressed.
Silly ****er likely overdid the petrol ... personal experience Quents? and did Jesus tell you that he liked to watch you? ... or are you just hearing voices?
We’ve closed our show with Comfortably Numb for the past seven years. My solos in that track are among the highlights of the entire show. Come and watch us perform and I assure you that, in this at least, I will have your respect.
Mate, you are too late. There's been a decent Floyd pub/club band for ages. Look 'em up called "JustFloyd" http://www.justfloyd.co.uk/
They are a pro act that tours the world. You'll pay £30 a ticket. They are the exact opposite end of what we do. I repeat, there is not another pub/club Floyd tribute act in the UK. There is one that I know of in the usa - we "like" each other's FB pages. I haven't heard of any in Europe.
