Col I have been listening to the radio and watching TV and believe me Strollers comments of a 8-10 point lead to remain are laughable. Loads of remainers have said they respect the vote and just about leaver voter I hear still want out.

Those MP's don't want to lose their seats over 150 Labour constituancies voted leave and many Tory. Both parties said they would respect the vote at the electtion and people voted for them for that reason (well some). It would be a disaster if they put out another vote.

I still think leave would win and with a bigger majority. Only today remainer MP's have said the same and I heard remainers saying they have changed and even the young saying they wanted to leave. Also the question would scupper it anyway. Sounds good from Lucas/Cable but not practical.

We still have that British thing in us that hates being bullied. Many people would rther leave than be bullied by the EU. So i can't see it happening.

On the democracy thing from our resident remoaners. People can change their minds but if you promise to implement something you should do so. The only reason a few have changed their minds is because of project fear which is now making people question it.
As I said mate, I reckon WTO now and nothing to be frightened of.

Leave wouldn't win a 2nd referendum and I think you know it. I don't see where the EU have bullied us either, that's just a pathetic stance. We are on our 3rd brexit Secretary, that says it all!! We haven't still got a position on brexit to date!! Open your eyes man !!!!!!

You didn't understand the first vote  If that is the case you will have no idea with what is happening now. (actually I could say that about the rest of us). Regarding the 2nd referendum I would put a big wager on Leave winning again. Remember I said leave would win and Trump would win... why? because I listen to people without all the rubbish that is said. I will say it again Leave would win again if the ballot was Stay/leave. However there will not be another vote for the reason I gave earlier.

On another note I am hearing a few more Tories have handed in letters. This is a game changer. JRM reckons Boris would be a good leader. No wonder Boris had a hair cut! :1980_boogie_down:

Bloody hell, they're making comparisons between Brexit and the English Civil War on the BBC News. I guess that would make me a Roundhead.

Well I did because I put the research in. It was quite simple, they sent me a leaflet that said what would happen. I listened/read/watched the various media and made an informed decision. I was a remainer until near the end and changed at the last minute. I am glad I chose to leave and would vote leave 1000 times again if it gets us away from that club. You said earlier.
Actually when I read that comment, I find that pathetic. The EU has been called 'bullies" by so many people from within it's own organisation. I could list 5 leaders that has refered to them as bullies and plenty of MEP's, Civil servents that would say the same. This negotiation has been a farce, and I will agree May has made a real 2222 up of it, However they weaponised Ireland to bully us. It's quite plain to see.

No, the roundheads fought Mogg-like for the sovereignty of Parliament. The Cavaliers believed in an absolute Junckers monarchy beyond the control of the people. The good news, Strolls, is that get a feather in your cap and ride around on a horse until you're skewered by a Pole...sorry pole!

Maybe he’s the same bloke who had to explain Brexit to all the thick racists at school pick up time.....People seem to take him and his kind as gospel

  20. Yeah I've heard this before and am intrigued as it's not the way the EU actually works.

And when quoting this figure noone ever also mentions that the UK voted in favour of legislation more than any other Member State.
