Careful you’ll be called an enemy of the people. I agree with you (quelle surprise) but think there’ll be st least one more attempt at a revised deal (maybe completely different) first. But who knows.
Back out!! NO... call their bluff if it means hard Brexit hard it is, if it means no deal then no deal it is, can’t let them bully us and can’t ignore the vote.
Apparently going to try and change the backstop and make it ‘legally binding’ commitment that it will never be used.... and then the EU will obviously say No as what’s the point of having a thing that you use when all else fails if you can’t use it when all else fails.....
Revised deal? You don’t believe May had any say last time do you? More likely she turned up and was told here is how it is, I can’t stand Labour but May is toothless and spineless
A possibility is another from that star studded hall of talent known as the Conservative party will get a chance to fck their career (and the country).
No wonder Elland didn't vote he's a week behind everyone else, did you arrive at the polling station a week after the vote.
We should have prepared on day one for a hard Brexit. Tell Brussels this is what we want, if you don’t agree then fine, hard it is and then we should have got ourselves as prepared as possible. May has never had the hard Brexit as an option, Brussels know this so they’ve bullied her from day one. All this wasted time and absolutely no nearer to a deal today than we were the day after the Brexit vote was announced. Too many politicians wanting a say and a vote on a vote as they fear their own feathered nest is going to get ruffled
And you’re a bit slow on written comprehension. Last week the top advisor to the ECJ made recommendations to them. They don’t always follow them but this morning they announced they had. So you’re wrong ...... again
Examples of how Brussels have bullied Theresa May please? They set out from the start clear and transparent positions giving the UK a range of options depending on what we could and could not have depending on what was important to us, so no single market access without freedom of movement etc All with an underlying and pretty basic principle they’re not going to offer a non member a better deal than a member. And they have not moved from this position. It’s sheer incompetence from Theresa May, David Davis and the rest that led to a situation where it took nearly 2 years to come with what the UK did want! As for too many politicians having a say well that’s parliamentary democracy and that’s taking back control. The alternative is giving too much power to the leader and then you’re heading into LL strong leader/dictator territory
You answered your own question in your first sentence. “They set out....” it’s never been about what we want. I agree about 2 years of incompetence, it’s just two years of preparation down the pan. Incompetent too calling the election when she did making her a weaker leader
