Oh come on fella. Your comment was “What if Redmond was dropped would the analysis be the same if.... other players played?” You named some. You asked a question, whether it was to me specifically or not, you asked the question and I answered it.
Here is your post and the post I said was a little silly. Your question at the end is what I refer to as silly, because we don’t know. It would depend on how they played and if they caused as much threat and fear that Redmond has done this season.
Yep. They won. Against probably the worst team in the league at the moment that tried to gift them a goal or two all game. They thrashed us 1-0 after Vester screwed up for the 20th time and gave it to their forward. Are Cardiff better than us? Maybe. Are Cardiff any good? Nope.
Us deluded? We have no delusions or illusions either. You really need to look at the comments from many of your fans (not all) on here. You are where you are in the league for a very good reason. We know what we are. Hard working and in the faces of the opposition. If that upsets a few of the Prem prima donnas, then all well and good. We know we will need some luck to stay up this season as will any club in the bottom 7 or 8. Plus some good investment in January to refresh a tired squad. Come May, 17th position will do for us but if we were to go down so be it. The only players leaving will be those we want to offload - you can have Pilkington, Tomlin and Madine in January in a buy 1 get 2 free deal if you like. Oh sod it, you can have them all for free. From what I saw on Saturday, apart from Redmond, Romeu and Lemina they would improve your team. It's all about points in the board and the 3 we won on Saturday will make it that little bit harder for you to catch us. The Blue Army will look forward to the return game in February.
Nothing deluded about it pal - you need to man up and face the facts. I was at the game and here are a few things you need to accept. You were **** in the first half and should have gone in half time behind by 2 or 3 at least - it was our own fault you didn't. You got away with bloody murder on the minor fouls front in that 45 minutes because referee Moss was either farting, sneezing or picking his nose every time your guys challenged a Cardiff player - he was ****ing useless. Second half you started to think you could get something from the game because you couldn't believe your luck after 45 minutes. You pressed and we sat back virtually inviting you on and hoping to hit you on the break - it always worries me when we do that. You could have scored that first 25 minutes of the second half but face it, you were just not good enough. Then the best decision of the day from Moss. One of your guys clattered Camarasa in the centre circle and I watched the ref bringing his whistle up to his lips. He saw the ball break forward and waited those few seconds playing advantage - brilliant refereeing. It looked as though your CB was expecting the whistle for the foul and ****ed up big time. Too late - Pato the monster was on him and it was happy days all around the ground - well except one little corner of it anyway. For what it's worth, on Saturday you came up against a side that most had dismissed just a few weeks back as Warnock's no hope cloggers who were going straight back down. The current bottom 7 will more than likely yield up the trap door trio, and whatever you want to believe it wont be "Prem skill" that keeps you off it because you don't have enough of it - it'll take something else just like us. Recently some pundits and fans have been having a re-think about what it'll need to stay up this year. It's about time you lot got real and man up - stopped moaning for getting beaten by such a "**** side". Happy days.
In mr Warnocks own words he said saints have the best squad in the bottom half.......we just needed a manger who can get us playing again......which I believe after the Jan window we will see a much better upturn in form.
No probs pal - but the best squads don't necessarily get the right results - it takes something else to bring it out. Maybe the Austrian can do it.
I thought Mark Hughes would have done better but it turns out he was a dinosaur, I have high hopes for Ralph but we need to back him in January and get rid of some deadwood and get players who will suit his style of play........just hope Mr Gao has deep pockets
I'm not enjoying the wumming, but I have to say. Its pretty admirable how Cardiff have approached this season. There's been a lot of loyalty shown at the club, and its now paying dividends. Can't force myself to dislike anything about the way they have gone about their business.
Haha I don’t understand this lot. Pretty much the whole 40 odd pages have been us Saints fans saying that our own team is ****. How do we need to get real!? We are fully aware how bad we are and the position we’re in once again. We got beat by a **** side because we were even ****ter. There’s about 7 or 8 **** teams, you’re one of them, and right now we are the worst. You won a potentially important 3 points because despite your best efforts to keep the game a draw, we just kept serving you up chances and you eventually took one. If you were even half decent you’d have destroyed us. Enjoy it, I bloody well would if Saints ever win a game again.
You gotta admit it was a good spot and response by Bluey there. We can argue about football all day on this forum - it's so easy to criticise others. The problem is it always needs two sides to make and argument. You just need to expect a response when we read such dross about a game of football from posters who probably punch keypads rather than actually watch it.
Mate, we could both do with a few miracles. For the record, btw - we know why we’re in the bottom three, so not sure why you keep saying we need to get real.
