And determination. How do you see yourself?

But things I’m not that bothered about, I can easily be persuaded to change my mind. Especially by by grandkids - or an attractive female!...

Akabusi. One of the most annoying people ever to have walked the planet but also a true ****ing legend.

To put into context how brilliant a run it was, the guy he ran down had won gold in the 400m. Akabusi was a 400m hurdler and had won bronze at the Championships.

 

This video has been blocked. I remember Dave Wottle though, Montreal Olympics was it? Always came from last to first. As did Kelly Holmes.

I hated running any distance beyond 400 metres, at that point it always got boring and began to hurt, at which point I would begin thinking about stopping for a ***.

 

Christine Ohuruogo .... never forget this race ... 200m out and she can't possibly win .... can she?

 

Akabusi was guest speaker at an awards dinner I went to a few years ago. ****ing brilliant after dinner speaker, had everyone in stitches. Genuinely lovely bloke I thought, must have posed for phots with about 200 people afterwards, and never stopped grinning for a second.
