Just been watching Caroline Lucas (Green Party Leader) on C4 Brexit, didn't realise she was a staunch remainer. That's Greens crossed off my list.

 

Always the sensible party, just be prepared for a bit of scandal.

 

When she realises the environmental benefits of Brexit she’ll be fine.

And it’s an easy thing to say when it won’t have a direct impact on them.

She absolutely rinsed the other 3 in that debate. Cleverly trying to defend a deal that no one wants, Gardiner spinning the ridiculous fantasy position of Labour, and Rees Mogg chatting bollocks about his disaster capitalists dream vs simple and obvious common sense. Common sense won.

I didn't think she did rinse them, if you mean she became a bag of wind, then you would be more near the mark, she'd ask a question but then would not stop talking to give them chance to answer. The problem with her style was that she was wasting airtime instead of using the airtime by putting them on the spot via giving them that chance to answer.

Made me laugh when asked what should be on the ballot paper, her response, May's deal or Remain I loved it when the Labour guy challenged her and said so you know what's in our manifesto

I think i would have taken to her more if she had taken a more rational route.

I disagree mate. She was the only one who came across that she truly believed the words she was saying, the other 3 just didn’t, probably because they don’t.
