Sorry guys. I just need thoughts from consumers on an idea ive had for work.

If you could give me some feedback, I'd be really grateful.

Okay, so at work. We're wanting to change the way we run our breakfast service in the morning. To take it more effective.

The idea. Instead of going into the resturant for a 'deluxe' breakfast in the morning, a lone traveller/businessperson can go into the Hotel Bar. And use a service called BREAK-fast Where they can pick up a Sausage Sarnie etc, fruit salad, yoghurts, and juices. All for a cut price.

Thats it, in a simple form.

If any of you, saw that in a hotel. Would you at all be tempted to take. Bare in mind, you wouldnt have to queue in the main resturant. And you can also have you breakfast on the go.

If I was in a hurry one morning for whatever reason then I would probably do that. It's a good idea <ok>

Yep good idea. I'd use it.

Actually i've stayed in hotels that will prepare a travel breakfast on request anyway. Definitely a good service.

Good :) We do that at the moment, but we want to expand on that. And, I came up with BREAK-fast.

Yeah, if I was alone I wouldn't be that bothered about sitting in a restaurant eating alone, I'd prefer to just get it and go so yeah I think it would work <ok>

If it was written so that you can see 'fast' is emphasised.. maybe like

    BREAKFAST

or something not as terrible as the way I just did <laugh>

Ive sketched out the word fast so it is in italics. And it has little wheels underneath it, along with go faster stripes on it aswell. As a basic design, I think it looks nifty.

I always think the word deluxe sounds cheesy I'd go for a a more honest description.

Maybe builders breakfast that would attract me.

I say go one step further and develop a vending machine that sells breakfast. I'd definitely use that.

Hmmm, its a good idea. For somewhere like Novotel, for example. It would be really good. Just, for a 5* it wouldnt be allowed. Shame though, cos I like it as an idea. Especially for providing the Fruit, yoghurts and juices.

I hope I can offer a different insight into your idea. I travel a lot due to work and go in and out of a canny few hotels. I either skip breakfast or have it sat down, most people on hotel visits are on business, and if they are carrying a bacon roll while wearing a suit it's taking a risk that brown sauce doesn't run down onto your crisp shirt you just ironed the same morning and **** your day up aswell as juggling a cup of coffee... for business people, a cup of coffee is priority! (Although i imagine it is for most people on a morning too.)
...also you don't want indigestion after all!
People who are on vacation tend to relax and want to sit down and enjoy there breakfast, especially if travelling with the kids!
