Wolves are one of the worst teams I've seen in the prem in a long time. How the **** did we manage to conspire to lose against these ****ers is beyond me.
93rd minute, defending for their goal was ****ing League One standard. Perez fcks up, down the field they go, 1-2. The best thing is it shows what investment does vs. Ashley's approach. Wolves spent more in the Champ than we did in the Prem (by some distance). We could've got the draw thanks to Benitez, but ****ty Championship-standard players like Yedlin and Manquillo ensured we got beat for the SEVENTH time in just NINE home games.
That was hard to take. Has to be said the referee had an absolute shocker. I honestly am unsure whether yedlins was a red. A biased opinion is not. But Perez got smashed in the face with an elbow and the defender knew exactly where he was. Red card penalty and we win the game. It’s horrible watching some of the players we have though. But Perez has a good game.
Perez should have headed straight for the corner flag. Looking for a corner or even just a throw in, but no, he gives the ball away and no one wants to risk the tackle once the Wolves player was near our box. It’s so bloody typically heartbreaking to concede like that when they had worked so hard. But you just knew it was coming.
That is absolutely shocking isn’t it. Look I don’t think we will get relegated because there are worse teams. But this takeover either has to happen quick or we are ****ed.
