Most refs just seem to love refereeing at ER and all too often they end up making controversial decisions. Either to prove they're big enough to handle it or they deliberately won't give Leeds anything so as to prove a point. It does get beyond joke at times and I can see why a lot of QPR fans were unhappy. Unbelievably most Leeds fans were slagging him off before the bad foul and penalty award.
From what I saw on the stream he could have booked Wells for a couple of niggly fouls and then everyone went mental when he did book Klich for an obvious lunge.
Penalty decision aside I thought he did ok compared to some. However when you're making a decision that ultimately decided the game then you have to be 100% you're making the correct one. He blew the instance it happened and to be honest most refs in the PL give themselves a second or two and then wave those kind of appeals away for fear of being wrong. In the championship they seem more prepared to give them as the scrutiny after is much less.
He didn't give anything. No free kick. He'd just blown for a foul immediately before by Cameron I think.
Same thing happened to me. The bruising around the bones in the foot takes ages to get rid of. It feels fine until you kick a ball and then ... ouch, big time!
