I have a 'balanced flue' Ideal boiler, in 23 years we've replaced one pump and one blown circuit board (caused by the silly bastard from Brit. Gas who installed it) - serviced every year, it owes me not a jot. If only everything was as reliable.

There was a Worcester boiler in my house when I moved in. By the time it finally packed in it was over 30 years old.

It wasn't me saying Ideal boilers were ****e. Julian for one did. But you never had a pop at him. I just used the word ideal as a play on words. Paranoia reigns.
I don't give a flying about what you think about Ideal. I'm talking about your hatred of Hull and it's people. I couldn't have made that plainer.
It is now Worcester Bosch. The top 2 boilers were Worcester Bosch Greenstar and a Vaillant one for 3 or 4 bedroom houses. The best for a 1 or 2 bedroom house were and Ideal Standard one and a Vaillant one.
My mate who deals with central heating says the Worcester ones now aren't as good as they were.
