Hopefully he saw a different player in the Bundesliga and can make him that player again. Or he has an identical twin brother and some how they swapped him for the **** one with out us knowing

You make excellent constructive debating points that have caused me to reconsider my opinions. Oh, no, the other one. Could you drip just a tiny bit more sarcasm in there?

Does your tedious sarcastic statistic reflect the goal he created by beating four Man U defenders, getting the ball to Obafemi and him laying it off to Armstrong to score the other week? No, that was just ****, no-end-product play by Redmond because Redmond didn't personally pass it to Armstrong and it's not counted as an assist.

I didn't even imply he was the best in the league. I said he was the major positive in our team. Low bar but that's what I'm comparing him with. He's the only player who makes us look even remotely dangerous. Spurs may have shown agreement that he's a danger when they put either two of three players against him every time he had the ball the other day. I guess it's his fault as well that our strikers can't get the ball in the sodding net.

Yeah I'm with you, probably been our best player across 2018.

Of all the debates to be had, Redmond is the strangest today.
    No case to answer.

Have you seen the rest of our forward line?

He'd get double figures in goals and assusts in City's team.

Those sorts of players will often lose the ball by trying to make things happen though, but he often gets some joy too and he's the only player we have who will actually try those things too.

He could just stop and pass the ball back to Romeu in the centre circle if you like? Yeah we're good at that, let's stick to that.

This all day long, especially the last sentence. I've lost count if the poor matches I've attended over the last 18 months or so where he's been the only bright spark going forward.

He also seems genuinely more gutted and to care more than most other players too and rarely lets his head drop, always trying to provide an option.

Small margins - undone by a defensive blunder. Armstrong should have been awarded a clear penalty, probably Redmond too. And Lemina should have scored.

Redmond usually manages only one or two dangerous crosses into the box per game. He undoubtedly has talent and LOOKS our most creative player. My beef is for the amount of time he has with the ball he creates very little! His decision making lets him down. I really hope he improves but for now I would prefer anyone in his place who can read the game and deliver a simple ball. SFC 60% possession (Redmond 30% of it)

    My highlight of yesterday.
When Austin lost the ball with a gash short pass, then sprinted back to retrieve it from the opposition. He got it.
That was seriously my favorite thing about the match.

His decision making does sometimes let him down; but not nearly so often as the complete lack of options let's him down.

Which is great if we had someone who offers more but we quite simply don't. Wr create very little but he's still involved in most of it, who exactly do you think we should replace him with?

Funny you mention City. He’s sort of like our Raheem Stirling.

You evidently won’t change your opinion on Redmond so I won’t waste my time arguing with you.
