Is this the day we actually believe we are going to win the title?

I’ve said that this season is now or never. Of course never is a long time. But we will not have such an opportunity for a while. We are taking all our chances (so far) and getting a bit of luck too.

Reminds me of Leicester in that incredible season. Everything came together for them: the big teams having a rough time, luck with matches, a few players who were stars and led others to play at the very top of their game.

If we can maintain our form (and nerve) and I can’t see any reason why not, we should win the title this season by finishing above City. There I’ve said it [HASHTAG]#nojinx[/HASHTAG] . And I’m going to put a few quids on this !

We have already surpassed my expectations. I thought that City would just keep winning - which they did until yesterday and that we would drop points - which, to be fair, we have looked like doing - but have scraped through a few games and haven't looked like the attacking threat of last year.

So if....and it's a big if, we can get the balance right between attack and defence and show some of the threat that we did in the second half of last season, then we have a chance....but we can't afford many slip ups at all - because City won't slip up too many times between now and May. It's still a big ask imo, but possible if we improve again in the second half of the season.

City's game on the 3rd of January is now very important. Everyone now looking forward to this game.We hope to secure maximum points in all our games before then.

We wont be able to splurge a few million in January to cover up any cracks or bring in injury replacements whereas City can. City have the stronger team to rotate, we will be shagged come January. It is a monumental ask and I do not think we will be up to it.

Personally, i don’t think we will win the league.

But we should at least be able to enjoy what’s currently happening and we should dare to dream.

Losing to Chelsea is their blip. Man City will obliterate us once we have our blip.
