It’s alright mate as I found out what his home telephone number is. I told his wife that her husband was a massive nonce and she agreed with me. We then had a lovely chat about whether the International Space Station would pass over the UK on Christmas Eve so that the kids would think it was Santa on his way to deliver their Xmas presents.

Bittersweet. That is a decent performance against the current Massive, but seems like we could have done better and were unlucky.

Pride intact but we need to start winning again.

Totally agree some of our play was very good. Although we lost today I am still happy with the way we are playing.

There were quite a few Leeds fans fearing the worst today which shows how far we have come since the first few weeks.

The Officials stream looked like maybe it was being hacked into early 2nd half. Link lines kept coming and going on the picture, and the sound was a little strange. No big deal though. The stream was pretty good overall.

More to the point how does a referee from his position see it? It stinks a bit of him playing up to the crowd.

Great to have a creditable loss with good play, pride and limited damage to the goal difference but we need points on the board.

    View from the Leeds perspective.

We had lots of possession but were contained quite easily during the first half after a couple of half chances early on.

When your goal came it wasn't exactly a surprise as you'd found a foothold in the game and we seemed to be running out of ideas. Obviously the equalizer before HT changed everything and it was a scrambled effort rather than brilliant play on our part.

Now on to the penalty...from where I was sitting it looked incredibly harsh. Haven't seen any replays but as I said in an earlier post referees at ER seem to like to make big decisions and more often than not they get it wrong. This time it went in our favour and as we haven't had penalty awarded for so long it was always going to be something like that rather than some of the more obvious ones which have been turned down.

Once we were ahead instead of pushing on and going for the killer 3rd goal we slowed the game down to run down the clock. I hate it when we do this as you always leave yourselves open to the final 10mins long ball onslaught which duly came. Naki Wells had decent chance from a ball cut back but he blazed over when he should have hit the target. It was all hands to the pump for the added time and we just held on.

Thought your boys did ok and on another day would have definitely got something out of the game. Liked your right winger No'23 I think, has bit of attitude about him and played well in the first half.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Greatly appreciate the unbiased report, and that shows how far we have progressed this season, that we showed backbone and fight, when playing one of the form sides in the division, and come away from the match with heads held high.

However, ….now to the penalty... we seem to be on the receiving end of this on a constant basis, I'm pleased to hear it is view as karma, from your perspective, however, from this side of the fence, karma sucks !!

We did get away with one at 1-0 against Sheff Wed if I recall correctly. But then didn’t get given a very similar one against Hull on Leistner. My view last week was crap though so may not have been in the box.

If you look at the pens given against us this season they’ve pretty much all been at least debatable and some just plain wrong. Sheff U at home was a bad one from memory so it’s not just away from home up north. We are still a bit nice when it comes to moaning at refs.

Saw a clip of the challenge on Cameron...am I right in thinking that the Leeds ref didn't even brandish a yellow card for it? That's a foot breaking tackle if ever I saw one and could easily been a red card.....

And as for the penalty unless he got word from the linesman he must have guessed...

Isn't the first rule of refereeing you can't give what you can't see?

The challenge happened fairly near to me and in real time there didn't seem much wrong with it. To be honest most people thought he was time wasting to try and get to HT. I'll take your word for it though if you've seen it again and it was a bad one. Definitely no yellow card.

Have had a chance to look at the penalty again now and to me it's inconclusive so that means it's harsh in my opinion. The referee though was in absolutely no doubt and pointed immediately to the spot. What exactly he saw or thought he saw only he knows.

Must admit I'd like to see referees giving post match interviews but I guess non of them would be in jobs if they were held truly accountable for all the mistakes made.

Think he saw an opportunity for a comfortable afternoon and took it. Not for the first time.

I had an injury like that when I used to play. It happened early February and it put me out for the rest of the season.

Pretty sure he decided it was a penalty as the guy chipped it forwards.
