My point is that to call someone a mindless thug is different to calling someone a talismanic gobshite. 'Mindless' and 'thug' together just convey something offensive. I said he was brilliant with one word and excessively mouthy with the other word. I really don't enjoy all these semantic lessons I am having to give. This is supposed to be about football, not 'Basic English 101'. If you had just read what I have written, and understand what the words mean, there wouldn't be a problem.

Oh God here we go again, Firstly, no need to insult Bellamy it's uncalled for, this is a a game versus the bar stewards next door and we should be singing from the same hymn sheet. Bale was excellent on Friday but I thought Bellamy just shaded him for MOM. He was tremendous, no one worked harder and his link up play with Taylor was fantastic, he will be missed. On paper, considering they have 90 league teams and we have 2 they should win comfortably but you never know.
I can't see beyond an England victory TBH.............but you have to ask if these 10 - 0 merchants have ever watched a game of football in their lives, my guess is a three goal margin.........3 - 0 or maybe 4 - 1, but you can live in hope
Bellamy played his heart out for our country against Montenegro & that's all that should matter, he should be respected for that, especially with all the 'cry-babies' we've had in recent times. We should bury our differences when our national side is playing, show some unity & get behind 'our' team. We could be starting to turn a corner with our fortunes, let's show respect to everyone putting on that Welsh shirt!! Tomorrow we we're always going to need to be at our very best just to compete. It's going to be even harder without Bellamy & Vaughan. Hopefully the players that take their place, whether it's Collison, Allen, Crofts or whoever, can show the pride Bellamy did.......
Yeh too true, Blue!!! LOL Maybe we'll just fly under the radar a bit, we don't want it out in the open.......
Well Bob Hope's mother was Welsh - "his Welsh mother, Avis Townes, was a light opera singer". Does that mean she didn't weigh much?
Leeeeeon it's a shame you have chosen to use such a derogatory remark on our Welsh Captain, not only is it uncalled for, but you must surely have known it was going to be contentious with our neighbours up the road, it has derailed this thread some what, and am sure it has provided entertainment for our friends across the water!................... please log in to view this image Anyway Wales 0 England 4 !...................... please log in to view this image ... please log in to view this image
love bells and wish he could play, the thing with bells is when he talks about welsh club football he always praise the swans and thinks that we have shown the rest what you can do if you do it properly.....great player who wales will miss big time....
Well I got to be honest I hope Speed donât go for that C@@T Feature Allen as I think we need a little more height in the side.
Fair play to him, I had no idea. Still, I maintain you reap what you sow, if people have a negative opinion of him for whatever reason it's normally because of what their actions have achieved. I take it back though, now I think he's a gobshite with a heart
Sorry Scott, it has nothing to do with their actions, it's just what the media report, a good guy giving his own time and using his own money to help those kids doesn't sell newspapers, on the other hand !!! so the guy gets prejudged just as you did.
Is this not the guy who's generally been involved in infighting at every club he's been at? I don't dispute that he's a good, hardworking man who cares for people and is using his money for good, but he has caused a lot of problems throughout his career! I don't particularly dislike the guy, I just think he's mouthy, that's all! Edit: after doing some reading on him, I retract the "every club he's been at" part. However, he has done a LOT of things in his career which he can't be proud of, which, in fairness, on a human scale, get dwarfed compared to starting a foundation and academy in Sierra Leone. I still think this has been blown out of all proportion though.
